Lumi Global has officially had its science-based Net-Zero target validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Net-Zero Standard.
This validation confirms that Lumi Global's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets are aligned with limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 °C, the most ambitious climate pathway recognized by the SBTi. It reflects Lumi Global's commitment to measurable, science-based action to reduce its environmental impact over time.
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) helps organizations set emissions reduction targets in line with climate science. SBTi validation means Lumi Global's near-term and long-term targets meet the Net-Zero Standard, which focuses on real, measurable reductions rather than offsetting.
Lumi Global's targets cover Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions — direct and energy-related emissions from its operations — and follow the 1.5 °C pathway. This is the highest level of ambition available through the SBTi.
The company is not claiming to have achieved net-zero emissions today. Instead, this is a validated, science-based target that will guide how Lumi Global reduces its emissions over time.
Lumi Global will report emissions and progress annually, providing stakeholders with clear, accessible information. This reporting approach is designed to prevent overclaiming and ensure that all communications remain transparent and measurable.
This commitment reflects a deliberate strategy focused on reducing emissions at the source, with progress verified through recognized science-based standards.
This milestone reflects Lumi Global’s broader commitment to strong governance, transparency, and sustainable growth.
