In 2021, Lumi ran more than 4,500 meetings for organizations globally, and we are on track to break that in 2022. With more organizations embracing digitalization, there have been rapid advances in technology to ensure discussion within virtual and hybrid meeting environments is just as productive as physical meetings. Intuitive technologies, such as the Lumi platform, are making it simpler than ever for shareholders to access and engage with meetings and for board members to share key updates, disseminate documents and answer questions from the audience.
 
The Lumi platform is designed to be intuitive and simple to use for all kinds of stakeholders, not just digital natives. To ensure that access to the meeting is as simple as possible, we will never ask participants to download a single-use app that requires additional education or support. Instead, a simple web-based log-in is used, which can be accessed from one or multiple devices. With this simple interface, participants find it easy to vote, watch the broadcast, interact with Q&A, and download meeting documents.

Pre-meeting

Microsites and events pages can be generated by your project manager, branded and themed to company guidelines and made public when you choose.

Direct links to the pre-registration site or public live meeting forum can be provided to include on your own platform.

The pre-registration platform can be customized and localized to suit your audience, recording only the questions you require.

Once approved, attendees can choose who they wish to participate at the meeting, and if polling is being utilized they can cast their vote or proxy it to the chair or another participant.

Login Screen

The login portal can be branded and themed to provide a familiar visual for your meeting. Logins can be configured for authenticated users or guests and each path can be turned off. 

Terms and conditions can be included as part of the login process and all the fields customized to your requirements along with support information.

If you wish to allow it, participants can log in on more than one device and best practice 12 digit passwords can be enforced for authenticated users or removed to provide a simplified experience.

Remote registration displays can be viewed to approval status, monitor quorum, alerts, and search specific accounts. When quorum is reached or registration is closed, messages can be displayed.

Participant Messaging Screen

Moderation can be turned off or on for your event depending on whether you want written messages instantly displayed, either publicly to participants or privately to key stakeholders.

Written questions, of 250, 1000 or 3000 characters, can be categorized by the participant from a pre-defined list when submitting and direct responses are received to their device. 

Moderators can prioritize, label or append answers to messages and alternate written and oral messages to assist the chair throughout the Q&A.

Verbal questions can be taken with video or audio only via our integrated solutions which include Zoom.

Polls can be posed individually or in groups, depending on your format of the meeting and participants can respond via laptop, tablet or smartphone.

Participant can change their vote at any time whilst the poll is open receiving an instant confirmation after every change.

The platform allows for 1:1 or weighted votes that can be further enhanced with split voting which can be optional, enforced, or cumulative.

Remote displays show key stakeholders the state of each resolution, including proxy votes, prior to polling and in real-time when the poll is open.

Broadcast Screen

Lumi can provide in-room or remote broadcasting options, all handled by our in house team of technical producers.

Our technical providers will also organize the hardware, rehearsals and running of the live event, supporting with advice, scripts and templates to ensure consistency across all collateral.

From our bespoke studios we can synchronise slides and presentations, as well as any pre-recorded video.

Webcams will be seamlessly mixed along with lower thirds, which can include name, title and company, and this can be full screen, side by side or mixed with videos.

PDF documents can be published in the platform to a document repository providing easy access and the ability to download to your device.
